Yes! We can issue you a card in our BASF branch on the same day during our business hours!

Your Wymar Debit Card lets you pay any Mastercard merchant directly from your checking account. You can also use it to get cash at thousands of ATM locations worldwide or directly from the merchant using your PIN.

Our Debit Cards are powered by Shazam Brella. You may receive texts or calls about suspicious, unusual card activity from the contacts below:


Mastercard Identity Check

Keeping your account safe and secure is our highest priority. We have partnered with our debit card processor SHAZAM to implement Mastercard Identity Check.

  • Participating online merchants will prompt you to enter a One-Time Passcode (OTP) at checkout. You will receive your OTP via text message.

  • If you enter an invalid OTP three (3) times, your card will be blocked.

  • To unblock your card, please text or call us at 225-673-7191.

Travel Notice Please!

Help us minimize fraud and the associated costs by submitting a Travel Notice before your trip. We constantly monitor trends and will occasionally place blocks on certain areas of the country, merchant types, and foreign countries.

NOTE: If your card is ever rejected while traveling, using your PIN will automatically override any blocks that are in place.


Debit Card Round-Up

You swipe, you save!

With our Debit Card Round-Up feature, every time you use your Wymar FCU Debit Card, we’ll round the transaction amount up to the nearest dollar and deposit the difference into your Wymar FCU savings account!

We add up all of the Debit Card Round-Up amounts each day and do a single daily transfer to your savings account. Your online banking history will look something like this:

Things you should know (the fine print).

  • Debit card transactions that qualify include signature-based and PIN-based. ATM transactions DO NOT qualify

  • If a debit card purchase is returned, the applicable Debit Card Round-Up will remain in the savings account (you can always call us or make a transfer of those funds from savings back to checking through your mobile app)

  • Credit transactions or adjustment transactions will not be rounded up

  • The round-up transfer will only take place if you have sufficient funds at the end of the day, and it will never overdraw your account

Notify us right away if your debit card is lost or stolen.
