Eligibility
Membership is open to the following individuals:
Employees of BASF Corporation who work at the Geismar, North Geismar or Vidalia, LA sites, and members of their immediate family
Employees of Wymar Federal Credit Union and members of their immediate family
Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union
Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from BASF Corporation
Members of the immediate family or household and organizations of such persons
“Immediate family members” are defined as one of the following: Spouse, Child, Sibling, Parent, Grandparent, Grandchild, including Step and Adoptive Relationships
How to Apply
Applying for membership is easy. You can complete the process online or stop by our main office at 37269 Hwy. 30, Geismar, LA, and one of our member service representatives will assist you.
To apply, you will need to provide the following information:
Your driver's license, state-issued I.D. card, U.S. passport, or U.S. military I.D.
Your Social Security number
Your contact information
Your mother’s maiden name
A valid email address
Cash, check, or money order for a minimum of $5.00 to purchase a qualifying share* (This is the minimum deposit to open a Regular Share/Savings Account.)
A parent or guardian as a joint owner if you are under the age of 17
If you are opening a joint account, both parties must be present
*$5.00 Savings Account balance must be maintained at all times to remain eligible for credit union services and membership.
